LMP has a pretty good spread but doesn't take off as much damage from the spell, especially if you are casting two totems anyway. I was thinking of dropping Faster Projectiles for Fire Penetration to see how much more damage it does, since I have a 20% Incinerate, which adds 40% proj speed already.Īlthough with the 20% Incinerate bonus + Faster Projectiles, the flames range is really far, which allows it to keep attacking more consistently then when the flames range is shorter, that way keeping it in the upgraded stages longer so it does much more damage. Incinerate scales way better into large groups and higher level maps when things start taking a bit longer to kill, especially now that incinerate goes through the stages faster. My 6L Incinerate Totem only costs about 30 mana to cast, so with my dual curses on blood magic, I barely need any mana and can run more auras (Clarity + Purity + Discipline + Haste)īefore I only had about 3000 hp and no ES because of eldritch battery, now I have almost 4000 hp and 1500 ES.įlame Totem is great when you are soloing 66 maps and whatever since everything dies really fast. Both work very well with a faster projectiles gem linked (or using a few jewels on the tree for it), incinerate totems can even take a lesser multiple projectiles. This also allowed me to put way more points into Life. totems like flame totem or incinerate totem benefit greatly from added damage to spells on scepters, wands and co, incinerate doesn't benefit from crit though. I used Flame Totem + Faster Proj + LMP + Added Lightning Dmg + Ele Prolif + Faster Casting With Flame Totem I went crit, totem has about 25% Crit chance and 500% crit multiplier. I've played around with both as well with a 6L searing touch, and Totem + Incinerate is better. ![]()
